Managing Through Change - Building a Rockstar Development Team
Cheryl Wendt, CFRE

Date: Thursday, April 24, 2025

Time: 12:30 p.m. CT

Change is a constant in the fundraising world – and building a top-notch team (even if small) is necessary for success. This interactive session will focus on building and managing an excellent fundraising team – with an emphasis on change management and crisis management situations. Looking at real life examples supplied by the audience, we will consider different, realistic methods for team building as well as models of change. The central point will ultimately be on how the team can work together to build a culture of philanthropy, along with stronger relationships with donors.

You'll learn:

  • How to build a team that is poised for change
  • How to structure a team that can survive a crisis
  • Strategies for team building that go beyond theory and have real world applications
  • That team development can lead to a more effective fundraising culture through stronger donor relationships
